In every field of life, it is not expected that beginners will go through what the professionals who have been there for years go through. This also applies to yoga and its poses. Practicing yoga can be demanding sometimes and flexibility is necessary for some of the main poses. The poses here will be just perfect for beginners who have little flexibility.
- Mountain Pose
This is a perfect pose for beginners without much flexibility. This pose helps stretching your muscles and straighting the joints. To do the mountain pose, stand tall with your feet together, raise your hands overhead with your palms facing each other.
- Downward Dog Pose
If you’re looking to straighten your spine and back muscles, then the downward dog pose is the best you can start with. Place your hands on the floor while standing, straightening your hands and legs. Crawl your legs and hands towards each other to elevate your hips.
- Warrior Pose
The warrior pose is popular for its direct effect on the aliment of the body. It helps beginners to get their body in perfect shape before going for the more complex yoga poses. In this pose, you stand with your legs about 3 feet apart bringing your hands to your hips. Bend the right knee to 90 degrees, keeping your knee over the ankle. Then do the same with your other leg.
- Tree Pose
This pose works on the ankle joint and leg. Bringing your right foot to the inside of your ankle, you can move your foot to the inside of your calf as you get more balance in that position.
